![]() Unequivocally one of the coolest expansions in Oblivion, and depending on your level is a loot-haven! It is DENSE with loot and enemies with high level armor (I know that’s not uncommon, but the amount of NPC’s are). Once I finished the quest, I never returned to it. It’s just a glorified fetch quest that rewards you with a greater power depending on the month, if I’m not mistaken. The Orrery… it’s easily my least favorite DLC. ![]() That being said, it’s not very expensive, and you can TOTALLY skip it, it’s not necessary. ![]() Should it have come with game as standard? Absolutely. Horse armor, I know what I’m going to say is controversial, but I actually really dig it. Can’t tell if that was redundant information. Nor do they add anything besides the literal addition of more spells. The spells that are added from it are nothing that make or break the magic in Oblivion. Skip the Spell Tomes, if you’re iffy about it. ![]() I think it’s something that has to be played with Oblivion, as it’s a large enough expansion to warrant the price it’s easily the best DLC that BethSoft have ever made.Īs far as the player homes go, you can honestly skip them, but I would at the very least get like 2 of your most favorite good and/or evil archetypes and get the respective homes. Knights of Nine is pretty damn good, albeit a little short in my opinion still worth it. ![]()
